lschweitzer@bkscal.comDuring the twenty-five years that Lori A. Schweitzer has been trying cases, she has represented clients in matters involving products liability, environmental contamination, construction defect, toxic tort, professional negligence, insurance coverage and bad faith.
She has represented clients in Northern and Southern California in state and federal courts as well as in Washington, Hawaii, Utah, Montana, Kansas and Texas in her capacity as national trial counsel for an automobile manufacturer.
In addition to her expertise in automotive litigation, her product liability experience includes defending product manufacturers of industrial machinery and consumer and recreational products. She has represented clients in matters involving groundwater and soil contamination, exposure to chlorinated solvents, benzene and mold and allegations of attorney, real estate broker and accountant malpractice. Her construction defect experience ranges from matters involving single family homes to mass subdivisions.
Ms. Schweitzer has also tried a variety of insurance coverage and bad faith cases in state and federal courts on behalf of primary and excess carriers and has years of experience in complex coverage matters involving multiple carriers.
Ms. Schweitzer relies on her breadth of experience and practical approach to litigation to give her clients the best opportunity to succeed in and out of the courtroom.
