Mediation: Mr. Milanfar is an experienced mediator who has mediated numerous cases involving Family, Guardianship, Property, Business, and Community Disputes. His experiences as a mediator and litigation attorney have allowed him to develop a creative, flexible, and highly effective approach needed, for problem solving, in mediation. Mr. Milanfar is able to adapt and tailor his approach to fit the needs of the parties, their attorneys and the case. This approach is highly effective in helping parties effectively communicate and craft settlement agreements which address their concerns and resolve their conflict. Mr. Milanfar has shared his experience and knowledge with new mediators, attorneys, law students, insurance professionals, and college students, by teaching mediation courses and seminars.
Mr. Milanfar’s mediation training is through Steven Rosenberg Mediation and Center for Human Developments (where he now teaches a portion of CHD’s annual mediation training program). He serves as a mediator on the Santa Clara Superior Court & Center for Human Development mediation panels.
Product Liability & Personal Injury Litigation: Mr. Milanfar is an experienced litigation attorney who gained his trial and courtroom experience while working for the district attorney’s office and as a civil litigation attorney. Over the last 10+ years, has managed serious personal injury and product liability cases involving tires, cars, trucks, motorcycles, big rigs, ATVs, and household products. These cases involved serious injuries to the brain, spinal cord and other body parts, resulting in quadriplegia and paraplegia. He has also been involved with numerous personal injury and property damage cases arising from construction defect.
Mr. Milanfar is an Adjunct Professor at Golden Gate University School of Law where he has taught trial skill and coached the Golden Gate trial teams. He is also an instructor with National Institute of Trial Advocacy (NITA) teaching in NITA’s trial and deposition training programs.
