Bridget A. McKinstry
Bridget A. McKinstry specializes in products liability, toxic tort and insurance and commercial litigation.
During law school, Bridget served as an extern to the Honorable Ming W. Chin, Associate Justice of the California Supreme Court as well as to the Honorable Paul Turner, Presiding Justice of the California Court of Appeals, Division 5. She received the CALI Award for Excellence and served on the board of the Women’s Law Association.
After law school, Bridget’s practice focused primarily on toxic tort and insurance defense. She joined Becherer Kannett & Schweitzer (the first time) in 2001 and expanded her expertise to include product liability defense of automotive, tire and machinery manufacturers, while growing her insurance and commercial litigation practice. After a brief stay in Austin, Texas, she returned to the Bay Area and to BKS in the Spring of 2007.
