Lysle Kapp is an experienced civil litigation attorney representing defendants in toxic torts, product liability, and premises liability. He has handled hundreds of toxic tort and product liability cases, including asbestos, benzene, silica, and mold exposure cases. Lysle has developed a strong motions practice. He has successfully argued dispositive motions for the defense in cases involving the use of replacement parts, re-entrainment, and other emerging theories of liability. Lysle has reduced litigation costs for his clients by identifying and raising potentially dispositive issues at the pleadings stage. In many instances, the cases resolve prior to the commencement of costly discovery.
Prior to entering private practice, Lysle served as the law clerk for the Honorable John F. Bell, S.J., and the Honorable Thomas J. Terputac, S.J. of the Court of Common Pleas of Washington County of Pennsylvania.
