Anthony “Tony” Bentivegna is an experienced trial attorney, having practiced throughout the San Francisco Bay Area for over 20 years. He practices general business litigation with an emphasis on complex toxic tort defense, insurance and both commercial and residential real estate. He has represented a wide variety of professional clients, including construction contractors, liability insurers, medical associations, convalescent hospitals, and real estate brokers.

Tony has counseled numerous small business and institutional clients regarding health and safety issues, and developed successful pre-litigation strategies for the employer. He is also experienced in appellate practice, having successfully defended verdicts in both the First and Third District Courts of Appeal.

Tony is also a member of the Board of Certified Genealogists in Washington, D.C. In that capacity, he has been retained as an expert in matters pertaining to congenital, pre-existing injuries in personal injury cases and in probate disputes. He has lectured on related topics of family history resources and legal research and on compiling competent evidence pertaining to missing heirs.
